Description：Breast cancer arises in the lining cells of ducts or lobes in breast’s glandular tissue and is considered one of the most prevalent cancer in women around the world. Breast cancer cells are biologically and physically heterogenous populations that can be characterised into different categories. Such heterogenicity can be detected by gene expression profiling and immunohistochemical expression of predictive maker oestrogen receptor (ER), epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) or progesterone receptor (PR).
